High School Summer Camp Leo

High School Camp offers teens much-needed independence and a week of fun with their friends, gaining new experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Campers spend time in their cabin groups as well as in co-ed "Color Teams" composed of campers from all grades.

As our high school campers prepare to face new challenges and the increased independence of high school or moving away from home, Camp Leo strives to create an open atmosphere of communication and support. Campers can talk about being a teen with diabetes and get honest answers from others with experience. Diabetes education topics vary by grade level and include driving safely with diabetes, sick day management, advanced pump and MDI skills, and transitioning from a pediatric to an adult endocrinologist. Campers learn what it takes to be safe, healthy, and successful young adults with diabetes.
